BlackBerry launches Leap in India at Rs 21,490

Announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this year, BlackBerry has launched the Leap for the Indian market. Priced at Rs 21,490, this is the new all-touch device from the BlackBerry stable.
Featuring a 5-inch 720p Gorilla Glass 3 display, it looks similar to the BlackBerry Z3. It is powered by 1.5-Ghz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 225 GPU and is paired with 2 GB of RAM.
It runs on BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 and offers 16 GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128 GB. There is an 8-MP rear camera and a 2-MP front facing camera onboard.
BlackBerry has added a 2800-mAh battery to this phone, which the company claims can offer up to 25 hours of usage. Due to the limiting app ecosystem on the BlackBerry operating system, the users can download apps from Amazon AppStore in addition to BlackBerry World.
