Karbonn launches Titanium Mach Five smartphone with TV remote capability

Home grown brand Karbonn on Wednesday launched Titanium Mach Five smartphone for Rs 5,999 that can also double up as remote control for modern television sets, air-conditioner, set top box etc.

It comes with infra red emitter and Peel application that enables it to function as remote control for TV, STBs, ACs of about 400 brands. At Rs 5,999, it is a value for money, Karbonn Executive Director Shashin Devsare said at the launch.

Here are its specifications:

• 5 inch HD screen with IPS 450cd/m2 LCD.
• 8 MP rear camera with flash. It gives better image clarity with 70 per cent larger pixel size, the company said.
• 5MP front camera with flash for low light selfies in the night.
• 2200 Mah battery with stand by time of 5.20 hours.
