OnePlus X likely to cost Rs 17,500

OnePlus X might cost Rs 17,500

After launching the OnePlus 2, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has geared up to launch its next smartphone, the OnePlus X. Expected to be priced lower than the other OnePlus smartphones, the latest leaked ad on the Chinese social networking site Weibo suggests the cost to be 1,699 yuan in China, which will be close to Rs 17,500 in India.
According to the leaks, the OnePlus X will have a 5-inch full HD IPS display with 401 pixel density. It will have Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and will have Synaptics' ClearForce Technology, which functions similar to iPhone 6s model's Force Touch display.

It was listed on Amazon for a short while which stated octa-core MediaTek MT6795 SoC, 2 GB of RAM and a 2,450-mAh battery. It will run on Oxygen OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and will have a 13-MP camera with Sony sensor.
Currently, we don't have any update about the availability of the smartphone - it will be launched in India at a press event on October 29. Launching ahead of the festive season, it will take on the recently launched Motorola Moto X Play.
