Motorola's budget smartphone in the Moto series, Moto E (Gen 2) , is now even more affordable. The company has cut the device's price by Rs 1,000.
While the 3G variant of Moto E (Gen 2) is now priced at Rs 5,999, the 4G variant will retail at Rs 6,999.
The price cut comes a week ahead of Motorola's event on July 28 where it is expected to launch the third generation Moto Gand Moto X , and the next generation for its Moto 360 smartwatch.
You can get an additional Rs 2,000 off on the device under Flipkart's exchange offer, subject to the smartphone's eligibility.
Moto E (Gen 2), launched earlier this year, has a 4.5-inch display of 540x960 pixels resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm's entry level Snapdragon 200 quad-core chipset at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB RAM.
It has 5 MP camera at the back and a 0.3-megapixel camera placed upfront. The Moto E (Gen 2) comes with 8GB inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
